Mr. Marino is an accomplished senior executive with a proven track record of high shareholder returns during his thirty-year career in the energy industry. Mr. Marino joined Vermilion in June 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, and was named President in March 2014. He became Vermilion’s CEO in March 2016. Prior to joining Vermilion, Mr. Marino held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Baytex Energy Corporation, after initially serving as Baytex's Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Mr. Marino held the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Exploration Canada Ltd., a division of Dominion Resources Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Marino held a variety of technical and management positions with AEC Oil and Gas (USA) Inc., Santa Fe Snyder Corp. and Atlantic Richfield Company. Mr. Marino brings a wide range of experience in operations management, business development, and capital markets to his role as CEO of Vermilion.

Mr. Hicks has over 33 years of industry experience, primarily in the financial area of oil and gas operations, as well as property and corporate acquisitions. Mr. Hicks joined Vermilion in 2003 as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In 2004 he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and is accountable for Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Information Technology. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. Hicks was Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer with NAL Oil & Gas Trust, and prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Caravan Oil & Gas Ltd. from 1998 to 2000. He began his career with ELAN Energy Inc. in 1983, serving as their Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer as ELAN grew from 200 bbls/d to over 35,000 bbls/d.

Mr. Kaluza has over 32 years of delivering results in North America and overseas in the energy business. On March 1, 2016, he was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Vermilion Energy Inc. Mr. Kaluza’s earlier roles included Chief Operating Officer at Delphi Energy and various technical and management positions at Dominion E&P / Dominion Exploration Canada Ltd. and Phillips Petroleum Company.

Mr. Hatcher has over 18 years of industry experience focused on production and operations engineering, asset management and business development, working onshore and offshore in Europe and Canada. Mr. Hatcher joined Vermilion in 2006 as an exploitation engineer on the France team and in 2008 progressed to the role France Exploitation Manager. In 2010, he assumed responsibility for managing the development of Vermillion’s extensive Cardium and Mannville land position in the Drayton Valley area; successfully growing production from 7,000 boe/d to over 17,000 boe/d. Mr. Hatcher was appointed Vice President, Canada Business Unit on March 1, 2016 and prior to that, served Vermilion as Director Alberta Foothills, Canada Business Unit. Previously he headed up the crude oil, natural gas liquids and sulphur marketing group for Numac Energy, an Alberta based public oil & gas company and worked for Mobil Oil Canada in the crude oil and ngl supply and trading marketing group.

Mr. Tan has over 15 years of experience in exploration, development, and commercial negotiation in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia in both technical and managerial roles. Mr. Tan joined Vermilion in 2010 in the Business Development group. Mr. Tan became Director of New Ventures in 2013 and was named Vice President of Business Development in 2017. Prior to joining Vermilion, he was Asset Team Leader at ConocoPhillips Canada, managing production and development activities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Mr. Tan's earlier commercial and technical experience included work in various ConocoPhillips operating subsidiaries in the U.S. Gulf Coast, China and Indonesia.

Mr. Goulet joined Vermilion in 2000 as Director, Operations and Engineering in France and progressed to in-country Managing Director in 2003. Mr. Goulet returned to Canada in 2008 as Director, Production and Operations before taking on the global role of Director, Corporate HSE. Prior to joining Vermilion, he worked in various senior exploitation and operations roles including reservoir and production engineering for PanCanadian Petroleum and in-country Operations Manager for Ocelot Energy in Gabon.

Mr. Kremnica has over 22 years of domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry primarily in engineering, production operations and asset management. Mr. Kremnica joined Vermilion in 2005 as a production engineer working on various Canadian assets. In 2009, he relocated to the Netherlands where he initially led the facilities and production engineering groups eventually assuming the role of Operations Manager. Mr. Kremnica returned to Canada in 2011 as Production Manager and in 2012 took on additional operational responsibilities as the Field Operations Manager. Prior to joining Vermilion, he worked in various operations, exploitation, project management and engineering roles, including reservoir, production, process and facilities with ConocoPhillips Canada and Chevron Canada Resources.

Mr. Preston has over 19 years of combined experience in the investment banking and oil and gas industries, including over 13 years as a sell side equity research analyst and five years of direct experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Vermilion, Mr. Preston was a Director, Energy Research Analyst at National Bank Financial covering large to medium sized oil and gas companies, including Vermilion Energy and many of its peers. In addition to National Bank, Mr. Preston also worked as an equity research analyst at Canaccord Capital, Salman Partners and BNP Paribas (Sydney), and earlier in his career, spent approximately five years working in the oil and gas industry in a variety of financial and business analyst roles at Imperial Oil, ExxonMobil (London) and Shell Canada.

Mr. Prinz has over 21 years of industry experience, with a strong background in IT operations and project management. From 1988 to 2000, he worked as a consultant at Minerva Technology where he gained a breadth of experience in enterprise IT architecture, project management, software development, practice building and team leading for a variety of sectors including oil and gas, health and government.

Mr. Schut has over 30 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry including strong HSE, subsurface, operations, asset development, acquisitions and divestitures experience. In his most recent position prior to joining Vermilion, he was the General Manager of Chevron's E&P business in The Netherlands, responsible for business development and production activities offshore. There he successfully increased gross production from 5,000 BOE/d in 2005 to 25,000 BOE/d in 2011 and led the acquisition and development of industry firsts in shallow gas development in the North Sea. During his 10 year tenure with Unocal in Thailand, Mr. Schut successfully introduced slimhole drilling with monobore completions, reducing capital cost and improving recovery efficiency. As Asset Manager he initiated the fast-track appraisal and development of the Plamuk, Surat and Yala oil reservoirs in the predominantly gas-rich area around Platong, resulting in oil production rates reaching over 50,000 boe/d and booked reserves exceeding 200 MMboe's.

Mr. Kerwin has over 20 years of industry experience, with a focus on engineering and production operations in North America, West Africa, Australia, and Europe. Mr. Kerwin joined Vermilion in 2005 as the Interim General Manager of our Australia Business Unit. After his assignment in Australia, he spent five years in the France Business Unit leading facilities engineering and asset integrity functions before returning to Canada in 2011. Prior to joining Vermilion, he worked in various engineering and project management roles with Chevron in Canada, Houston and Nigeria.

Mr. Seatter was appointed Managing Director, Netherlands Business Unit on December 1, 2015 and prior to that, served Vermilion as Asset Manager, Paris Basin in our France Business Unit. Prior to joining Vermilion, Mr. Seatter held the position of exploitation engineer at Vital Energy Ltd., a Calgary-based junior energy company.

Mr. Moehring has over 30 years of diverse experience in the E&P business with the independent oil and gas company Preussag Energie as well as the integrated energy company GDF Suez. Prior to joining Vermilion, he held various reservoir, production and drilling engineering and management roles while working for Preussag Energie in Germany and went on to take increasing senior level management positions in general management, production operation, exploration and project development functions during the global E&P expansion of Preussag Energie both in Germany and internationally. With GDF Suez since 2003, Mr. Moehring held the position of Group Exploration and Operations Manager in Paris, before becoming the Managing Director of the GDF Suez E&P affiliate in Germany in 2007. He was a member of the board of DGMK (German Mining Research Organization) and Chairman of the E&P Division. Mr. Moehring is a board member of the Petroleum Engineering Institute of the Technical University of Clausthal.

Mr. Sralla was with ExxonMobil subsidiary XTO Energy from 2013 to 2015 as their North American Exploration Team Lead, advising on conventional and unconventional exploration projects in North America and internationally. Prior to that role, he was ExxonMobil Exploration New Ventures Senior Technical Advisor for Europe and the Caspian, during which time he worked extensively on the CEE region. Mr. Stralla's prior assignments included senior technical roles at XTO Energy before it was purchased by ExxonMobil, and at several independent energy companies in the US prior to XTO.

Prior to joining Vermilion, Mr. Lake spent ten years as the Operations Manager for Apache Energy in Australia. Previous to that, he was the Operations Manager/Asset Manager for Ampolex through the expansion of Wandoo A and engineering, design and development of Wandoo B. Mr. Lake has had previous operations and drilling management positions with Santos/Delhi in the Cooper Basin, Esso’s Base Strait Bream enhancement program and WMC’s Carnavon Basin and New Zealand operated assets.
