Along with our Corrib gas partner, Nephin Energy, we are pleased to create opportunities for students, community groups and organisations to learn, grow and connect.
Each summer, Vermilion offers paid internships for third‑level students from the Erris region, providing practical work experience at the Bellanaboy Bridge Gas Terminal. These placements help students gain insight into the energy industry and develop valuable career skills.

We proudly sponsor events and initiatives that celebrate local culture, sport and community spirit in the Erris region. Past support has included the Vermilion Energy Pro‑Am, Erris Agricultural Show and Geesala Festival.

Supports local students beginning third‑level education. Awards are available for the first year of study to students from partner schools in Erris. Applicants are required to submit a personal essay and sit a themed essay.
Encourages secondary‑level students to strengthen their Irish language skills by attending an accredited Irish language summer course in Coláiste Mhaigh Éo or Coláiste UISCE.
Scholarship applications usually open each spring.
