Work With Us

The energy transition is one of the greatest societal challenges of our time. The energy sector is constantly changing. At Vermilion you are in the middle of this. That makes working at Vermilion exciting and socially relevant. We are an informal organization with short lines. At Vermilion we love people who dare to take initiative. You also get that freedom and responsibility from us.

A Great Place to Work

The Great Place to Work Institute® provides an independent survey of employee satisfaction that we carry out regularly. Since 2014, Vermilion has been awarded the “Great Place to Work” certificate every year, making us one of the most highly regarded employers in the Netherlands.

Our People

Vermilion has a diverse workforce. The majority of our employees in the Netherlands, including management, are Dutch, because we believe it is important to hire local people from the regions in which we operate. You will therefore meet many people from Friesland at our activities in that region while also working with international colleagues from Canada, France, Germany, and even as far away as Australia.

“In my position, I am primarily a connector, both internally and externally. Sometimes it is quite challenging to get everyone 'on board'. That makes my work diverse and varied. The lines within the organization are short, which means I can connect quickly.”

Lucien de Boer

Sr. Asset Integrity Advisor

“Contributing to the technical safety of our installations also contributes to the social responsibility of our company and our industry, within Vermilion I am given every opportunity to fulfill this responsibility.”
