Environmental Fund

With the Environmental Fund, we are accelerating the energy transition at a local level. In this way, gas extraction contributes to a reliable and affordable energy supply of tomorrow. Moreover, it ensures the sustainability of the environment in which we operate.

How do I qualify for a contribution from the Environmental Fund?

A project can be eligible for the Environmental Fund if it meets a number of criteria:

  • Your project is located in a region where Vermilion is active. On our location map you can see where we are active.
  • The project is part of the local energy transition and the local community benefits from this.
  • The organization has a sustainability objective.
  • Your organisation/project has no profit motive.
  • The application form has been completed in full.
  • We provide financial support to local associations and foundations where our employees volunteer, to recognize the contributions of these organizations and our employees.

The Environmental Fund does not support:

  • Governments and/or applications that fall under the public domain of the government.
  • Persons or personal/private goals.
  • Organizations that are not active within the environment in which we invest.
  • Organizations without a sustainability objective.
  • For-profit organisations.
  • Organizations with objectives, interests or activities that conflict with Vermilion's core values.
